TiE - The Indus Entrepreneurs - is a global, non-profit organization that exists solely to foster entrepreneurship. With 40 chapters around the world, TiE's membership comprises thousands of entrepreneurs, executives, investors, inventors, artisans and business professionals from a wide range of industries. Considered the most prominent entrepreneurial organization in the world, TiE has been featured in noted magazines and newspapers such as the CEO Magazine, Fortune, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Business 2.0, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and has been the launching pad for numerous new ventures and partnerships.

TiE Arizona is focused on Helping Entrepreneurs Succeed through our three key objectives of Education, Networking and Mentorship.

Education: TiE's prominent keynote speakers and special events provide entrepreneurs insight into the experiences of successful entrepreneurs and venture investors, and highlight interesting business models and market opportunities.

Networking: TiE recognizes that business is based on relationships and thus helps facilitate new connections and partnerships through numerous networking opportunities.

Mentorship: In order to foster entrepreneurship, TiE provides proactive mentoring to aspiring entrepreneurs that are seeking advice and support in evaluating their business plans, products, operations, marketing plans and strategies, etc.

Arizona is becoming an increasingly fertile ground for entrepreneurship. New technology investments, government and university commitments to economic development and scientific research, the incessant inflow of professional talent and the general optimism of the marketplace all identify Arizona as a "region of opportunity." The time for entrepreneurship is now.

Now is also the time to get involved in TiE. If you believe in working towards improving the entrepreneurial environment in Arizona… If you are involved in, work with or are planning an entrepreneurial venture, and… If you are willing to contribute your time and energy towards a worthy cause, TiE Arizona welcomes your participation.

TiE is a member-based organization. Our members benefit from access to key benefits, such as discounted event fees and the TiE Mentorship Program. TiE Arizona members also enjoy membership status at TiE chapters around the globe. This has been particularly valuable to members that have conducted business in the nearby chapter cities of San Diego, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Denver, Seattle, Austin, Houston and Dallas. At TiE Arizona, members pay $200 annually and receive free admittance to most monthly events.

TiE is also a volunteer-driven organization. Without the support of our volunteers, TiE Arizona would not be able to execute its mission of fostering entrepreneurship. I'd like to personally extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of TiE Arizona's volunteers in helping us Help Entrepreneurs Succeed. If you'd like to get more involved in TiE and benefit from the association with leading entrepreneurs and a proactive entrepreneurial organization, please contact Srini Vasan, President for TiE Arizona at srini@tie-arizona.org or via phone at 602.674.3528.

Once again, I hope you enjoy tonight's event and the overall "TiE Experience". Be sure to leverage our speakers' time with your questions, and be sure to meet as many of TiE Arizona's members and guests as you can.

If you have any questions about TiE, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

With Best Regards,

Srini Vasan
