Mentees may request the opportunity to present their business plans to a panel of charter members for critique and referral as a dry-run for an investor presentation. The presentation would take place before a regularly scheduled TiE-Arizona monthly event. The mentee should allot fifteen minutes for a presentation and fifteen minutes for questions and answers for a total of thirty minutes. TiE-Arizona monthly events are held on the second Wednesday of the month. Mentees will be given a specific time for their presentation upon confirmation, but in general should be prepared to present at 6:00 pm. Mentees should review the below-referenced web-sites for guidelines on how to make this presentation. Mentees requiring this service must submit a business plan executive summary when making their appointment. The appointment will be confirmed after receipt of this document. Mentees should make their appointment at least two weeks in advance of the next TiE-Arizona meeting. The panel may refer the mentee for further mentoring. TiE-Arizona cannot overemphasis the need for practice in making investor presentations to angel groups, venture capitalists, and institutional investors.
