TiE is governed by a Board of Trustees (BoT) elected from amongst its worldwide Charter Members for a two-year term. Nominations for the Trustee positions are submitted by the Charter Members and voted upon by the Presidents of all Chapters. The Trustees elect the Chairman and the other Committee Chairs as required. The Board of Trustees meets four or more times each year.A signed Affiliation Agreement is the basis of the relationship between TiE and its Chapters. In order to facilitate communication with the Chapters, individual Trustees are assigned contact responsibilities for various Chapters.
